Originally launched in 2022 through Immigrants in Corporate, Thriving in Intersectionality began as a platform to amplify immigrant and underrepresented voices in the workplace.

 

Over time, the podcast has evolved into a broader leadership and career development platform — reflecting the growing complexity of identity, leadership, culture, and power in today’s world of work.

 

Today, the show features leaders across industries and sectors, offering nuanced perspectives on career growth, leadership transitions, belonging, and organizational influence through the layered lived experiences of its leaders and guests.

Dr. Lola Adeyemo is a leadership strategist, speaker, researcher, and community builder whose work sits at the intersection of leadership, belonging, identity, and organizational culture. She is the founder of EQImindset and Immigrants in Corporate Inc., and the author of Thriving in Intersectionality: Immigrants, Belonging, and Corporate America.

Through speaking, research, and storytelling, Dr. Adeyemo partners with leaders and organizations to strengthen leadership effectiveness, navigate complexity, and build cultures where people — and performance — thrive.

Her work spans corporate leadership, higher education, nonprofit governance, and executive development, bringing a research-informed and deeply human lens to the conversations shaping today’s world of work.
